In 1987 Ferdi Elsas kidnapped a prominent Dutch business man, Gerrit-Jan Hein (from supermarket fame). Ferdi killed Hein in cold blood the first day of the kidnapping, cut off his pinky, and used it during negotiations, leaving the family to believe that Hein was still alive for months. He was caught in 1988 when he tried buy liquor using some of the ransom money. He got 20 years. When he was released in 2001, he was given 700,000 Euros in back payments on his benefits. That seemed very wrong and this loophole has since been fixed.
Yesterday he was killed, on his bike, because he did not give right-of-way to a giant earth mover. Is this Final Justice?
